Acpi X64-based Pc Guide
ACPI stands for advanced configuration and power interface options in your system BIOS. The options enable you to change the power settings for your computer at the lowest possible hardware level. Update your ACPI settings in the BIOS by first accessing the BIOS during the startup process of your computer, allowing you to select the new ACPI setting you desire.
- What does this mean 'ACPI x64 based PC' driver Happens every time i start Windows. What do i do? I dont want to disable the driver to avoid seeing this but i think disable it will cause a catastrophic failure and or Boot problem. This thread is locked. - I looked around a bit and found that 'ACPI' is the computer driver thing in Computer Management. I'm pretty sure it originall said 'Dell XPS 625' or something (my computer) but it now says 'ACPI x64-based PC', when I attempt to find new drivers, Windows cannot find any new and states they're up to date.
