How to install Viber on Wi-Fi tablet or iPad. Download the Viber app on your Wi-Fi-enabled Android tablet or iPad from the Google play store or the App Store. Once you have installed the app, enter your phone number. After that, you will receive a text with a verification code. Enter the verification code on the tablet that is running Viber.

The free voice and text phone service Viber is available on the iPhone, but the company has not yet released an iPad version as of July 2013. Since iPhone apps are interoperable on the iPad, you can simply install the iPhone version of Viber on your iPad. Unless you have a data plan for your iPad, it is necessary to connect to WiFi to make free calls or send free text messages using Viber. Other than that, the Viber app works perfectly on the iPad, enabling you to keep in touch with friends and family for free.

Tap the 'App Store' icon on your iPad home screen.

Enter 'Viber' in the search box, and then tap 'Search.'

Select the 'iPhone Apps' tab, tap 'Free' beside the Viber search listing, tap 'Install App' and then enter your App Store password to authorize the installation of Viber.

Tap the 'Viber' icon on your iPad home screen after the installation is finished. Tap the '2x' button to stretch the app to fill your iPad screen, and then follow the introduction wizard to set up your Viber account.

Really good app!

Free Download Viber For Ipad 2

I have been using this app for over two years now and it is excellent for talking with my relatives on the other side of the world. It’s also really nice there is a translator so that my family that doesn’t know English can easily translate my messages. The stickers are so cute and fun to use as well. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star is the video quality. I understand that I’m talking to people on the other side of the world and it might be hard to deliver good quality, but I hate when I’m video chatting with somebody and it just goes all blurry and pixelated or just pitch black, even when their video is on. I would definitely give five stars if it had better quality though!

It’s been a while since I’ve used your app. You made some serious improvements in the meantime! Well done! The one thing I’d like to see you do is make it so audio messages auto play sequentially in a message thread after hitting play on the first one. Voxer did it first, but was unreliable. Recently, WhatsApp started doing it. If you add that you are definitely better than WhatsApp! Your “secret thread” and notifications when someone takes a screen shot and the auto self destruct is excellent! Can people adjust the timer, like Signal? I haven’t finished playing with your app, but it looks like you’ve done a lot of work. Good job, thank you, and keep it up!

Notifications

I love this app for my private chats, I’ve used it for a little over a year now. However, there are times when using my phone on another app, I am not notified of a message. This is something that recently began happening, is it something with the latest update? It never used to do this, and it’s disappointing when I get a message but don’t know of it till later.
Yes, my notifications are turned on.
Why...(in the chat) is the persons profile pic gone now? Just a black and white silhouette of what was their profile pic. When I look at their individual profile...yes, their pic is still there. But not in their responses in the actual conversation. For reference, I own an apple XS.
