I use FL studio for making beats and mixing beats and I'm very familiar with the DAW and get good mixes out of it. But now I'm getting into mixing vocals as well and I was wondering if any of you mix your vocals in there or track it out to another DAW for vocals?
I mainly want to know if the interface and workflow is good for doing vocals but I already know I'm good with EQing and mixing them you know?
Cause I'm looking to do the vocal parts in pro tools, Cubase, ableton or reason or would you say the workflow and ease for doing vocals or is the same on those DAW's?
In FL would I mix them within Edison? Or just load them in Edison, assign to a mixer channel and mix within the channel using whatever plugins I have? how do you do it?
